SNL is going down the drain: Lindsay Lohan will host the show on March 3, with former White Stripes singer Jack White tapped to perform as the musical guest.

The gig marks the 25-year-old’s first foray on the SNL stage in four years. This will be Lohan’s fourth time on the NBC late night show; with her first coming in 2006. TMZ tattles claim Lohan reached out to Live showrunner Lorne Michaels herself to book the hosting gig.

The SNL writing team should have a ton of material to work with: The oft-carcerated repeat rehabber — who set off a career comeback with a nude centerfold in the January issue of Playboy magazine — is raking up a hefty tab in unpaid taxes with Uncle Sam. For 2009, Lohan owes the U.S. government nearly $94,000 in unpaid federal income taxes for the 2009 calendar year. She owes an additional $140,203.30 for 2010.
