The Hamilton Tiger-Cats weren’t expected to put up much of a fight against the Montreal Alouettes in the first round of the CFL playoffs last weekend, but they ended up winning a wild game in overtime.
Now the Tiger-Cats will be looking to pull off another upset on the CFL betting lines when they play in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers in the East Division Final on Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton blew a fourth-quarter lead against the Alouettes last weekend, but still ended up winning a battle of offenses by a 52-44 score in overtime.
Tiger-Cats quarterback Kevin Glenn went 23 of 32 for 275 yards passing in that contest with one touchdown strike and one interception, while Quinton Porter completed both of his pass attempts for one touchdown and also ran for two scores in the victory.
Avon Cobourne ran for 97 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries against the Alouettes, and Bakari Grant hauled in seven passes for 130 yards and a score in the high-scoring affair. Dave Stala had the other TD reception for Hamilton.
Hamilton, though, lost all three of its meetings with Winnipeg this past season, most recently falling 33-17 at home in early October as a 3.5-point favorite on the CFL betting lines. Winnipeg went 2-0-1 against the lines versus Hamilton this season.
Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce, who had been suffering from a sprained knee, has announced he’ll be ready to start Sunday’s game for the East Division’s top seed – Winnipeg went 10-8 during the regular season, while Hamilton was 8-10.
On the CFL futures board the Blue Bombers are currently at 12/5 odds to win the Grey Cup, with the Tiger-Cats at 7/1 odds.
